Are you stuck for ideas of what to do with the kids these school holidays, then look no further than the Sydney Children’s Festival. It starts September 27th and continues until the 11th October. It runs from 10am - 4pm Monday to Saturday during the school holidays. The festival will host a range of artistic events including:
Loads of free activities including performances and workshops for kids aged 5-15 yrs.
A unique show titled The Petting Zoo, which lets kids meet a variety of prehistoric dinosaurs.
Jungle Fever, a circus act which takes kids through a wild adventure of trapeze and circus tricks.
A giant artistic playground, with exhibitions, dance and art workshops, interactive displays, storytelling, roving performers and much more.
This year the Sydney Children’s Festival will be held at Carriageworks, 245 Wilson St Eveleigh and there is free parking off Wilson St. If traveling by public transport, catch the train to Redfern or Macdonaldtown.
